Grand Prix European de Chant Choral

This year Europe’s annual Choral Music Competition, the Grand Prix European de Chant Choral (or GPE) will not be taking place in Arezzo. The final stop in the competition circuit was Arezzo last year, and the honor is rotated among the participating cities. Despite only hosting the final competition one in every six years, there is no city that seems to make a choir more at home than this medieval city.
Arezzo is the perfect place to enjoy choral music. Whether you are simply strolling through the town or purposely concentrating on the chant, Arezzo’s multitude of magnificent churches create an atmosphere befitting an internationally renowned choral competition. The choirs from each country must feel most at home even when abroad, when the GPE brings them to Arezzo.
Feeling at home in Arezzo is easy for the rest of us as well, thanks to villa booking companies like Interhome. Interhome and companies like them make renting an affordable family home away from home easier and less expensive than before, as well as lending their expertise to the vacationer.
